The Singapore Treasury complements and completes a world-wide network with other CIC dealing centers in New York, London and Paris. With all time zones covered, this network provides our customers with 24-hour market coverage and allows efficient access to the most important markets and to a wide range of financial instruments and currencies.

CIC is dedicated to offer customized and innovative solutions to Corporations, Financial Institutions and Private Banking clients trying to optimize their treasury and wealth management, coupled with seeking protection against the various risks that can occur. The 200-position Paris dealing room forms the backbone of the network and provides financial engineering support and services to augment the expertise present at the Singapore Treasury.

We can assist both corporate and private clients in dealing with issues like:

• Enhancing yields on surplus cash by using financial structures or taking advantage of interest rates differential between currencies. Yield – enhancement products, with full capital protection, are available;
• Identifying and hedging currency / interest rate exposures arising from mismatched foreign currency and interest rate positions through the use of forwards, options, NDF, swaps, caps, floors, amongst others; and

as part of our ongoing efforts to better serve the needs of our clients, we have identified Structured Products as an asset class that is fast gaining acceptance and popularity among the investment community. CIC has a strong Structured Products team in Paris, which together with the Singapore team, does stand ready to meet all specific needs in this area.

When structuring products, emphasis is given to meeting our clients' specific requirements in terms of currencies, tenors, risk tolerance etc.

Capital protection is a prominent feature of these products. Flexibility is the hallmark of such products, allowing virtually limitless combinations of parameters to the clients, including specifying the level of capital protection sought.

Returns on Structured Products can be tailored to index against interest rates, exchange rates, equity indices or a basket of stocks / indices.
